– If Gabriel Garcia Lorca’s “Blood Wedding” was shot as a spaghetti western featuring a soundtrack by Link Wray, Paco De Lucia and Del Shannon, it may, in my dreams, sound a little like Valentino. A tempestuous melodrama of love and death set in the wild, bright landscape of rural Andalucía.
